The food was excellent. Nice creamy and chunky guac. The street tacos were the best. The salsa had just enough heat. I want to take this place back to Kentucky with me.
Our server, Childo, was amazing. Helpful, friendly, with a great attitude. Food was wonderful, as always, and the mango margarita is so good! Could not do the margarita tower this time, but it's worth a visit. Accessible to all.
Been here many times since we moved to the area a couple years ago. Haven't had a bad experience with the food other than sometimes taking a long time... or restaurant sometimes being very full. I love the paintings on the inside
Just had the crispy taco dinner and it was delicious tacos were loaded with fresh ground beef, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. Very authentic Mexican recipes. Staff was very attentive and courteous. My buddy had the Chile rejanos and said they were the best he's had, they were filled with ground beef and cheese, hand breaded with traditional Mexican seasonings and spices. Owner was on Staff and made sure his customers were attended to. Truly an authentic Mexican restaurant in the heart of Hillsdale that supports the community. Make sure you stop by this location and their other three locations in Coldwater, Quincy and Grand Rapids. They been in business for over 30 years.
First time in. I hope it's always as good. I am not fond of very fancy, but love a welcoming area. I think they expanded for more seating, my friend told me. Great customer service; got order right first try; food was served hot; and not overly aggressive service. I would rate this restaurant more authentic than normal tex-mex establishments. I'm a big fan of migas and they have it on the menu, but call it something else. I like to add some shredded beef when I make it, and they did that for me for a very reasonable cost. I wished I lived a little closer sort of..... I would eat out too often.
